Wow, we have not seen this card since January! It used to hold the record for frequent appearances. Do you see that opening in the swords which almost resemble a cage? That is how you have felt for so long with regard to a particular situation…trapped, and unable to set yourself free. The opening was always there, but you are just about ready to notice it.
Often, when we feel stuck and the 8 of Swords shows up, we think there is no solution to our problem, when in reality it has been possible to escape it. I usually associate it with needing to think outside of the box in order to find the answer. There is definitely an answer; it is important to open your eyes and take a good look around, realizing that the issue does not necessarily require one desired outcome.
