What a great card to see today, especially after yesterday’s 4 of Wands. The Fool has a very carefree skip to his step, and always seems undaunted by what lies ahead. This is a card of new beginnings and innocence, and of the spontaneity that tends to escape our behavioral patterns as we grow older and jaded by the world around us. I feel as though the word “many” has been overused lately, but, the truth is, many of you have come so far that you have arrived at this place, the one which brings you a much-needed, fresh start.
On the flip side, and with Mercury retrograde right now, you know there is a flip side, spontaneity may not be your best friend at the moment. The Fool, in his detriment, can be foolish, throwing caution to the wind, and being blind to any pitfalls which could occur as a result of his actions. Mercury retrograde is a time when accidents can occur, and things tend to go more smoothly when they are planned in advance. Exercise caution, perhaps avoiding any unnecessary errands which could put you in harm’s way.
