It’s back! The 8 of Swords is here once again to remind you to get out of your own way, get out of your head and limited ways of thinking, and to open your eyes to the possibilities. But, wait! Today is the first full day of Mercury retrograde, and it is in the sign of Sagittarius, the one that brings us the BIG Picture. Very often, when we see the 8 of Swords, we feel powerless to find the way out of a particular situation. I will be honest with you, between today and tomorrow, I believe it is possible this can go either way. Everyone, of every sign, is affected by Mercury retrograde differently. So, while it is not unlikely that you can achieve a breakthrough in one area, you may feel as though you are in a complete fog in another. Mercury will remain retrograde through December 6, with its shadow period ending December 24.
Let us not forget that Venus is newly direct, and where Venus retrograde has influenced your actions over the last forty-plus days, you may finally be finding the answers to things which Venus presented to you during that time. What is important here is to focus on the things where you CAN find resolution, rather than beating yourself up over things which you can not. Know this, when the timing is right, and it will be, those blinders will magically disappear, and your hands will no longer feel tied.
Also important to note, when the Justice card appeared the other day, I mentioned it would be connected to the upcoming cards as a new semblance of justice itself begins to play out in the world. In the video below, I reference the GoFundMe hoax which broke this week, showing the shift in the balance between good and evil, right and wrong, and when you pair it with the 8 of Swords, you will be seeing people go to jail. Some may surprise you.
