Our Emperor is a two-fold card today. He can represent an individual, in this case, often a Father figure in your life, or a respected male elder. The Emperor is typically a very protective fellow, and, while he means well, he may come across as stubborn, old-fashioned, or even a bit of a stick-in-the-mud. So, he is more likely to be telling you what you should and should not do, even if it is in your best interest that he is saying it. It is possible to come across as a bit of a party pooper today.
On the other hand, today we have a Pisces Moon, and an opposition building between Venus and Jupiter. None of these are serious in nature, as in taking things seriously; Pisces loves to daydream, and Venus and Jupiter will be urging you to let your hair down. Hey, after all it is the weekend, and you have probably earned it. The energies are anything but Emperor-like, so as long as you are not totally avoiding responsibility, a little fun and lighthearted amusement may be in order.
