Why am I not surprised to see this card make an appearance. Take note, our 8 of Swords today is labeled the 8 of Voices, from the recently-released Muse Tarot by artist, Chris-Anne Donnelly. This feels to be quite an appropriate name for this card, because it really is very mental, and you may need to get out of your own head today. The mind can turn on you and be your worst enemy, causing you to feel powerless, and rendering you unable to see your way through a situation.
When you see the 8 of Swords (Voices), it is time to open your eyes, step out of that little box, and explore the possibilities. Some out-of-the-box moves may very well be required, but if you keep telling yourself that you can not do something, then you will not do it. This really can be self-defeating, and that means that if you feel this way, it is time to retrain the brain. Find means to focus toward a more positive outlook, and empower yourself to say “I know I can”.
