Card of the Day – The Hermit (Sequoia) – Tuesday, August 25, 2020

The mighty Sequoia always appears as though it does not need anyone…much like the Hermit, who, at times, can adopt a leave-me-alone attitude. Today there is a square building between the two bad boys, Mars and Saturn, Mars being the pushy one, and Saturn being about immovable as this tree. What do you do? Nothing is probably a good answer, at the very least, just do what is expected of you, because if you are expecting praise , chances are there will be none, and all of your valiant effort may leave you feeling as though, the harder you try – the hard you fail.

The Hermit can be a card of solitude and introspection, suggesting that a little alone time may be in order, so as to gather your thoughts and re-center yourself. This card serves as a beacon, in a time of darkness, similar to being in a tunnel, and needing to be guided to its exit. Goals may be on your mind right now, but due to this square, happening tomorrow, you may feel as though they are unreachable. Have patience, Dear One, this too shall pass.
