Card of the Day – Death – Monday, November 2, 2020

Indeed, the cards do always seem to have impeccable timing. Today, of course, is none other than the Day of the Dead, El Día de los Muertos, a holiday celebrated in certain regions of Mexico, and whose traditions have become popular around the world. Perhaps, you too, will join in the festivities and practices of honoring your ancestors, celebrating them rather than mourning them, with parades and altars, and even some amazing attire and face paints.

The Death card should really be labeled the theme card for all of 2020, as it is representative of the transformation being brought to all, courtesy of the conjunction which occurs once every thirty-three years, between Saturn and Pluto, having happened back on January 12. This card signifies death and rebirth, and is associated with our current Scorpio season. An old way of life is dying away now, and it will soon give birth to a new and exciting way of being. As you see the doors closing, keep an eye out for the light beyond the door which is about to open a slight crack for you.
