Jupiter conjunct Saturn 0° Aquarius

As if the Winter/Summer Solstice on December 21 was not a big enough deal on its own, Jupiter and Saturn will be meeting up the same day, at the very karmic 0° mark, and their meetup is referred to as the Great Conjunction. This is the closest they have been since 1623. The last conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn occurred back in the year 2000. They will not be this close again until March 15, 2080. This conjunction is often referred to as the Christmas Star, due to the close proximity of the two planets, forming seemingly one brightly shining star. Some even consider it to be the Star of Bethlehem, because when you view it in the night sky, the two appear to be one big star. It is important to note that for the last 200 years, this conjunction has only occurred in Earth signs, and now we are switching to Air. This one is setting the stage for the years to come, and mankind will make great advances, especially in the area of technology and science. Aquarian themes tend to be very humanitarian, and a kinder, gentler outlook will be most welcome. One of the most important things to note, is that this conjunction takes place at none other than the very karmic 0°, signaling a huge reset for mankind, and there will be new beginnings available to all.
