I am so not surprised to see the Queen of Cups show up today! New Moon blessings to everyone! Today is the New Moon in Gemini, and I strongly feel we may possibly experience both sides of this Queen. She is the epitome of generosity and compassion, and is generally known for having her stuff together, especially in times of crisis. The Queen of Cups is also a highly intuitive sort, and this allows her to handle otherwise stressful situations in a calm and balanced manner.
I do not think I can emphasize enough the power of the New Moon. Everyone always speaks of the Full Moon in regard to people’s unusual and erratic behavior. But, the New Moon brings out a certain edginess which I have observed, time and time again, over the years. We very often see the Queen of Swords popping up around the New and Full Moons as a reminder to watch what we say. However, this Queen of Cups, being an emotional Queen, expresses the need to keep those emotions in check, if at all possible. It feels as though it can only go one way or another, so if you find yourself on the emotional end, have patience with yourself. It is, after all, energy, and energies do pass and your feelings will change.
