The 5 of Pentacles tells the story of two different groups of crows. The first group is comfortable and warm, roosting in the tree. The second group battle a headwind as they hop along the frozen ground unable to see that relief is just a short distance away. The crows on the ground may have lost everything, but they take comfort in that they still have each other. This card serves as a reminder that even when all appears lost there are still opportunities if we look for them. It also serves as a reminder to feed your spirit by focusing less on materialism and more on relationships.

Card of the Day – King of Wands – Thursday, January 17, 2019
When we last saw this card, I mentioned seeing males born under fire signs being prominent in the news. The same applies here today, but think of it only as an exercise. You will be amazed at how many you find. There are aspects occurring tomorrow, which can be felt today, to name a few… Venus trine Mars, Mercury conjunct Pluto, and the Sun square Uranus. The Moon will be in Gemini, enabling you to check some things off of your To-Do List and take care of a few errands which need your attention.
The King of Wands is a powerful figure, someone who is in charge, and, this should be you today, taking charge of your life, stepping up to the plate to enact your vision for change for the future. I feel that if you really apply yourself, you can be proud of your accomplishments today, even if others would view them as the most mundane of tasks. Chances are, they matter a great deal to you. So, take advantage of all the powerful energy creeping in today, which also includes the fact that we are in Full Moon territory; it is even possible to see some eclipse action today. Harness the power of the King of Wands and take charge of the situation; the timing could not be any more perfect.

Eclipse season has a way of spinning you around, and when the spinning stops, you will likely find yourself facing in a new direction. Now is the time to seize your power! Hopes and dreams are not easily attained, said anyone ever, and you may find that current responsibilities which have grabbed your attention need to be dealt with first, before before the fun begins. By April, you will feel as though you have gained more control and security for yourself.
If you have any Full Moon rituals, or practices, whether they be carried out alone, or with friends, enact them for your highest and best interest toward the fulfillment of your important goals. Relationships are a huge focus for many at this time, and bonds can either be made or broken. Give yourself the space of a few Full Moon cycles to really feel that you are coming into your own, and better able to enjoy the comforts you feel you deserve. Now is the time to be passionate about your changes; do not skimp on the details, for this leg of your journey needs your undivided attention. This time around you are learning to choose differently.
By the next Full Moon, you may feel like Houdini, for you will not believe the things which have happened. This Lunar Eclipse comes as part of a challenging five months, but you are creating new roads for yourself and will come out the winner. This is such a powerful eclipse and there will not be another Leo eclipse again for a number of years. Do the work; create the magic; rise to the challenge. There is nothing easy here to be seen. This is a time to confront your fears and make life happen. You will need to assess along the way, and things may not turn out as you thought, but know that you will have what you need. Card of the Day – 10 of Swords – Wednesday, January 16, 2019
Here we are more than halfway between eclipses, and the cards in recent days have been teasing the changes to come. What will it take to recover in your life? What will it take to overcome stress? While things can often appear to be down and out when this card appears, our bright little spirit from Joanna Nelson will have none of that. Help of some sort is always available, it is important to reach out for it.
After today, you will begin to notice the shifts available to you in a very big way. Pick your head up, look around, and do not fear reaching out, for just as the 10 of Wands never show anyone helping, there is support available to you here, with the 10 of Swords, and alternative methods for overcoming stressful situations.
