Lemme outta here! This card used to make more appearances than any other, and the image depicted speaks volumes. While we cannot always see the way out of restrictive, stressful situations, they do exist. Solutions often require out-of-the-box thinking, and a willingness to consider ideas you had not previously had in mind. What can keep you feeling stuck is the notion things need to happen in a particular fashion. Breakout mode is activated, you merely need to open your eyes to the possibilities.
The 8 of Swords is a card of being stuck, moreso mentally than anything else. When you convince yourself you are powerless to change your outcome, you are accepting and allowing the current status quo to remain.
