The workings of the human mind are incredible, yet it can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Always remember thoughts are things, and thinking negatively tends to beget negative events. Falling prey to doubtful scenarios of the psyche happens over time, much like learned behavior, as you become conditioned to the idea of everything seemingly always going wrong. If you can recognize this in yourself, and find you are losing sleep over things where you are worrying about the outcome, it is time to retrain the brain. While not easy, learning not to overthink every little situation can be very helpful.
