Are you tired of adulting yet? Perhaps building a blanket fort in your family room is sounding more and more like a good idea. Putting a layer of protection between you and the outside world may be just what the doctor ordered. Try not to be totally obvious about it; perhaps you could claim to be doing it for the children.
Today’s 4 of Pentacles can actually manifest itself in many ways, some of which may include not spending your money all too frivolously during this holiday season. Venus retrograde is totally done, but you do still have a few days left before Mercury leaves shadow. Those new tech purchases may be better left for the post-holiday sales.
The chances of encountering an Ebenezer Scrooge type in your midst is entirely possible; let us hope this is not you. The 4 of Pentacles is a miserly card, and grinch-like people are running amok these days.

Card of the Day – 4 of Pentacles – Friday, November 30, 2018
Yesterday, I spoke about Venus opposing Uranus. Uranus energy is anything but the clinginess of the 4 of Pentacles. This card is all about holding on, usually long after you should let go. The feeling that there is something in the wind here should be heeded. And be sure to check out tomorrow’s card as well.
With Venus at 29° Libra, still in the shadow of its retrograde, and Mercury still retrograde in Sagittarius, this 4 of Pentacles could be here as a reminder for you to be cautious with your finances, using the miserliness aspect of this card, at least for the moment, until some of the fog around larger purchases has passed.

Card of the Day – 4 of Pentacles – Wednesday, August 29, 2018
As this next phase of your journey is underway, what parts of your life are you keeping? So much has happened over the last two to six months, that the landscape of your path has changed drastically. With each passing day you will be moving forward, slowly at first, but the pace will continue to escalate over the next six weeks.
Generally, when we see the 4 of Pentacles, it refers to greed, miserliness, and a lack of flexibility with one’s position. However, you are in a position now to create the life of your dreams. It is not in your best interest to maintain the same stance as you had say, six months ago. But, while five eclipses and many retrogrades have spun you around a few times, they have not stripped you of every part of your existence. You do get to decide where you go from here, and things you need to retain in your life in order to ensure your security. A conservative approach is still the best to take, allowing the energies in the coming weeks to smooth out in your favor.

Today’s 4 of Pentacles comes with several possibilities as to how it may play out for you. The most prominent of those is to not hold too tightly to outdated ideas, possessions, situations, etc., which can impede your progress. This is an extremely important week; the actions you choose to take now can have great bearing on your long-term outlook. Remaining in the same mode, and allowing yourself to remain stuck, by refusing to let go, can hurt you for the long haul.
For many, there is also a greater sense of security which is taking place. You have more of what you need, and it is not jumping away from you so fast. Maintain a conservative approach with regard to your finances, and be sure to save a little for a rainy day.

Card of the Day – 4 of Pentacles – Saturday, May 26, 2018
There are a number of ways of looking at this card, and today feels as though any one of them may very well be applicable, depending on your current situation. If Tarot were a Dickens classic, then the 4 of Pentacles represents the miserly Ebenezer Scrooge; if this were to apply to you in any way, it does not necessarily need to be about money. One can withhold many things, including affection, toward others. The 4 of Pentacles is an indicator of an unwillingness to part with, or share in any way, what is yours. If you have been pondering a large purchase, you may choose to heed the advice of this card today as remaining conservative for the moment with your finances and keeping all of your money in the bank. It is not to say that you should never purchase the item, but perhaps the timing is not quite right.
Who out there has come upon a better paying job recently, or perhaps a raise in pay? The 4 of Pentacles urges you to hold onto your extra money for now; it appears you may need it for something at a later date. Remember yesterday’s card being the 2 of Swords? I mentioned the possibility of a stalemate, and one does not need look too far to see Kim Jong Un holding his position and refusing to budge. This card can have a very stubborn attitude at times, so whether you, or someone you know, have become an immovable object, remember that time indeed does change things.
