Everywhere you look at this time of year, especially in the Northern Hemisphere, there is always a party happening somewhere. There is no shortage of weddings, graduations, retirements, anniversaries, and birthdays to be celebrated. The 4 of Wands can often represent the sheer joy of attending such a special occasion. Not to mention, that here in the United States, this weekend is an extended one, for the celebration of Memorial Day, considered to be the unofficial start to the Summer season.
Currently, Mars is traveling in the sign of Aquarius for an extended stay. This is 11th house energy, with an emphasis toward groups, and it is very often in your best interest to be a part of one where you can make positive connections to assist you on your journey. Remember, your vibe attracts your tribe.

Card of the Day – 4 of Wands – Tuesday, December 5, 2017
The cards have definitely been having an upbeat, festive vibe in recent days. There are so many things to be celebrated, and I am not just talking holidays. They are only a small part of whatever is happening now. I am aware that this is not the case for everyone, but the majority of followers do appear to finally be experiencing an upturn in positive karma.
Perhaps you are attending an office holiday party today. If this is the case, then do be safe. The 4 of Wands covers parties, and celebrations, but you do not need to throw a party to celebrate and be joyous. Surround yourself with positive people, with like-minded ideas, and be a part of a community where you fit.
Bear in mind that Mercury is retrograde, so communication is not what it should be. The 4 of Wands is here today to remind us of this. Check those emails and texts, two or three times, before hitting send. Make sure they actually impart the message you are trying to relate, for it may not be received in the same manner as intended on the other end.

Artist Interpretation
The four of wands is a card that stands for celebration, harmony, marriage, home and community, and is one of the more happy and positive cards in the deck. It represents a time of fulfilment and satisfaction at the attainment of a goal.
The layout in the artwork that I created for this card, roughly represents that of the original card. Like the original Ride Waite, there is a happy couple in the middle in unison. In this card, surrounding them are four beams that are the wands coming from an UFO, which is their “home”. In the original card, there is a large castle behind the couple and a canopy of flowers on the four wands is also similar to the wedding canopy. Instead of a large castle, on my interpretations, there is now a large planet and the flowers have been replaced with little stars.
Card Meaning
Full of warmth, two astronauts are dancing in space, illuminated by four wands of light from their spaceship. They have been hard at work but now they take a moment to celebrate the beauty around them. It takes a lot of luck and skill to get here, but they have achieved it…their determination has led them to this moment and they revel together, their arms stretched out…inviting you to join in.
When this card appears in a reading, it is prompting you to celebrate your achievements. Right here, in this moment, life is good! Enjoy the moment, and appreciate those around you. Acknowledge and rejoice in how far you’ve come. What you have managed is no mean feat. There will be plenty of time later for work. For you to face and overcome the usual struggles, challenges, and problems. Life is full of those…for now, forget them all and just have some fun!

Card of the Day – 4 of Wands – Monday, November 6, 2017
After missing one day, that being yesterday, we are back to the Wands. And this one is the favorite of all, actually ranking very high in positivity for the entire deck. I want to yell YAY! I am not sure why, but this card always has such a sense of glorious freedom and celebration about it. While it does represent real-life parties and special events, such as weddings, etc., it is more about how good you feel when you are with those you call your tribe.
There is a sense of community in the 4 of Wands, where like-minded people can come together with a unified purpose. It represents positive changes, and I always get the feel of the “Promised Land” being not too far off in the distance. Whatever is going on in your world today, celebrate life and embrace the positivity available to you.

Card of the Day – 4 of Wands – Monday, October 16, 2017
This is one of the most sought after cards in the Tarot deck. While it alludes to the obvious, such as parties and celebrations, the positivity it brings to any reading is absolutely uplifting. It denotes a sense of freedom, often as though the gates have opened up to allow you access to the promised land, not too far off in the distance.
Look for wherever Jupiter in Scorpio is poised to help you this year, to see that opening appear before you. Jupiter brings just the right people into your life, in order to make things happen. The 4 of Wands is a card of community, and in the coming thirteen months, you can see your community grow and change in the area where Jupiter is bestowing its gifts upon you. If the 4 of Swords is the perfect Sunday card, then indeed the 4 of Wands is the perfect card for a Saturday. This is one of the most positive, sought-after cards in the Tarot deck. Celebrations of all types are possible at this time. Weddings and engagements are also indicated.
Wands, as we know, are fire and change, and this card adds a favorable tone to the day. It denotes that feeling of freedom, or relief, from a particular situation. This is a time to come together with the people who make up your special community, or “tribe”, so to speak.
