5 of Cups

Card of the Day – 5 of Cups – Saturday, February 16, 2019

Posted on Updated on

In life, there will always be disappointment and loss, but to focus on that, or to throw oneself a pity party, is not in your highest and best interest. Remember, what is done is merely water under the bridge.

The 5 of Cups is a Card of focus, and urging you to embrace the positives which remain in your life. They are meant to be nurtured so as to create new growth. We are post-Valentine’s Day, and not all relationships may have survived, while others may be beating themselves up over the lack of a love life. Time is the most important thing you’ve been given; let it all go and make good use of yours by cultivating your remaining Cups, however they may be filled.

See you here tomorrow!

Featured Card of the Day – 5 of Cups – Crow Tarot by M.J. Cullinane

Posted on Updated on

Artist: M.J. Cullinane

Website: http://www.enchanteddecks.com

Card Meaning

The crow of the Five of Cups stands on the river bank; he is consumed with loss and unable to find the path out of despair. Because his focus is directed only on what he no longer has or has lost, he is unable to see the riches in his life. The Five of Cups suggests that you move away from a mindset of lack and look for areas in your life that are positive. The message of the Five of Cups: replace feeling of scarcity with gratitude.

Card of the Day – 5 of Cups – Tuesday, January 15, 2019

Posted on Updated on

We have not seen this card since June 7, and that is a fairly long time. It predates the retrogrades of Mars, Mercury and Venus, as well as the second eclipse season of 2018. The Universe has been trying very hard this week to change your focus, as witnessed by our recent cards.

Here we are in eclipse season again, and it is even possible that this energy could be dealing with the loss of a relationship. I really feel that its placement this time is all about getting your little self over what ever has been wrong in your world, and beginning to focus on what you do have. Life will always have its disappointing moments, but it also contains many blessings. Choosing not to throw yourself a pity party over things which are merely water under the bridge, is the best thing you can do for yourself. You have so much which awaits you; you just need to turn your attention in the proper direction.

See you here tomorrow!
