Once every 12-1/2 months or so, Jupiter, the great benefic, the giver of gifts and good luck, changes signs. It is currently residing at home in Sagittarius, making it that much more powerful through December 2, 2019. Every year, shortly after changing signs, Jupiter meets up with the Sun, known otherwise as a conjunction. This aspect is in play today and tomorrow, and taking advantage of this energy on the leadup as it is building is a more powerful energy to harness. The Sun is the giver of life, bringing vitality to all it touches, showing favor to those upon whom it shines, and even increased potential for fun. So, what Jupiter does is expand what it touches, increasing the manifestation quotient many-fold.

What a beautiful card from a beautiful deck! It is great to see our money Messenger of the Tarot show up today with the promise of new beginnings and perhaps an incredible financial opportunity in the mix. But, wait! Mercury is retrograde, so what, oh what should you do? The Page of Pentacles can be about that good news for which you’ve been waiting…the possibility of a new job, interview, promotion, or raise. So, how do you handle it?
Ok, so the primary rule of Mercury retrograde when it comes to jobs is not to accept a new one at this time, unless…this offer comes to you through someone for which you have previously worked. That is the basic gist of it. So, if you are working for a company, and they offer you a dream promotion, with greater pay, go for it. But, what if you are a regular Joe Schmoe off the street, unemployed, down to your last dime, you are thankful to have been offered an interview, but do not know the course of action to take. TAKE THE JOB!!! It is more important at the moment to find employment and begin earning in order to put yourself back on your feet. If, down the line, things aren’t working out the way you had hoped, the Universe will provide when the timing is right. This is the one rule of Mercury retrograde that we all need to learn to bend when necessary. May the Universe provide you with the employment needed to care for yourself and your loved ones.

What an exciting card for a Monday! Mercury is now direct, and the New Moon in Aries is only a few hours old, so be sure to set those intentions. The Pages of the Tarot are messengers, bearing news of new beginnings in a particular area. The Page of Pentacles is concerned with manifestation, so give careful thought to what it is you wish to manifest.
It is still a bit early to commit to a new job, unless you are faced with no other options. However, today is a good day to start putting in those applications, mailing out those resumes, and, who know, maybe even going on an interview. The Page of Pentacles loves to bring in new job opportunities. If you are in a position to wait to commit, then do so, and give yourself until the 23rd to sign on the dotted line. This could be the beginning of something fruitful.

Card of the Day – Page of Pentacles – Monday, January 22, 2018
Happy Monday, people! What an exceptional card for a Monday! If you have been here even a few months, then you know I have been on a Page kick as of late. I have always felt as though they have been a bit underrated. Pages are the Messengers of the Tarot. They are an indicator of new beginnings. So, why do I feel this Page is a great way to start your week?
The primary objective of pretty much everyone out there, aside from achieving a modest form of happiness, is the security necessary to maintain that happiness. All too often, this equates to your finances and your potential for manifestation. Have you been trying to make a change to better, or at the very least, stabilize, your income on the job front? The Page of Pentacles says go on that interview, manifest that new job, go knock on that door. There are zero retrograde planets right now, as I am sure you well know. Do not wait until you are in need of a new job; the energy in this early part of the year is some of the best for transorming your life. Go for it! Put in for that promotion, if you feel you are as worthy a candidate as anyone else. Let today’s message to you be one of opportunity for manifestation of the security you need in your life.

The Page of Pentacles floats boldly through space towards a glittering star surrounded by a cluster of other stars which forms the Pentacle.
This card is about seizing opportunities and following your dreams which can be interpreted as reaching for the stars. I wanted my kitty to be doing just that. Color and light were really important to me to convey a feeling of possibility and opportunity. I had such fun making this card, I think it’s my favorite so far.
Card Meaning
On a space walk through a gorgeous, colorful galaxy, a kitten astronaut reaches for treasure. In all this beauty he has discovered a golden, glittering star, surrounded by tiny stars and space dust. His eyes are wide, joy and awe on his face as he inches toward it. This is glorious and new…nothing else can compare to it, even within the wondrous cosmos that surrounds him.
When this card appears in a reading, it is advising that there are opportunities presenting themselves to you for security and potential wealth. Keep an eye out and grab them when you find them! You’re ambitious…ready and eager to leap into a new project. You know it will take a lot of hard work, but you’re prepared, and more importantly, willing to put the effort in, to make your dreams a successful reality.
The Page of Pentacles can also represent a person in your life. A young person (young at heart, certainly), who is around you at the moment. Who brings you opportunities for commitment, security, and who suggests you embrace your physical nature, and look to your health.
