Artist Interpretation

The little monster guides the mushroom with his two bug passengers down the river to help them escape something from their past. Although the waves behind them are rough and the waters turbulent, it pushes them to more peaceful, calmer waters ahead. They are moving in the right direction, following the paper boat carrying mental clarity, as their friendly fishy buddy encourages the transition and new start.
