Card of the Day – Death – Tuesday, September 17, 2019

Posted on Updated on

With the Pisces Full Moon just passed, everyone knows that Full Moons bring a culmination to matters, as does the Death card.  This is an important moment for you, prompting you to purge something which no longer has a place in your existence.  It is not by any means a loss, rather it is meant to clear away what is not useful, to make way for new things to enter your life.

This transformation which is set to begin here happens with Saturn, the taskmaster, ending its retrograde period which began back in April, by stationing direct today.  Be prepared to see the changes as they begin to happen for you and around you.  Saturn is currently in home sign of Capricorn until March of 2020.

See you here tomorrow!

Card of the Day – Knight of Swords – Saturday, August 24, 2019

Posted on Updated on

In recent days, we have seen a shift in energies from Leo to Virgo, so far including the Sun, Mars, and Venus, all having moved into the sign of tiny details and nitpicking.  You may have noticed yourself pick up some projects which needed completion and tended to them, so as to check off your To-Do List.  One would think the Virgo energy was enough to keep you going, but today there is a Gemini Moon.  Gemini is an Air sign, just like today’s Knight of Swords.

In Gemini, things tend to be more run of the mill, such as attending to the mundane tasks of life which many put off until the weekend.  Should you be spending your day chauffeuring the kids to practice, buying groceries, doing laundry, making a bank run, cleaning house, etc., then you are doing exactly what you should be.  The Knight of Swords is a card of ambition and completing all of your errands and chores will leave you feeling good about your day.  This is not about over-the-top accomplishments, rather dealing with more menial efforts.  You will be glad you did.

See you here tomorrow!

Featured Card of the Day – The Hermit – Crow Tarot by M.J. Cullinane

Posted on Updated on

Artist: M.J. Cullinane

Website: www.enchanteddecks.com

Card Meaning

The solitary hermit crow, aged and wise is perched upon a sacred tree in quiet contemplation deep in the woods. He listens to what the tree needs to say as the falling snow lands on the smallest of branches. It is the tree that has provided the crow knowledge and it is a symbol of the unconscious mind. After his time of quiet reflection, he is ready to pass his knowledge to those who are willing and prepared to travel into the thickest part of the woods. In his mouth, he holds a lantern, a symbol of wisdom to light the way. The delicate falling snow is light and provides a cloak hiding the crow from those who are not ready to hear his knowledge. The soft, bright glistening snowflakes represent cleansing and moving in a spiritual direction that will lead to fulfillment with one’s journey.
