The Moon spends about 2-1/2 days per month transiting each sign of the zodiac, and today, it takes up residence in Cancer, the sign which the Moon calls home. In this case, the word “home” is quite appropriate, as Cancer focuses on nurturing and security around both home and family. There is a tendency here to be a bit more of a homebody, so, if you had plans, but feel as though you would rather stay home, the Moon is probably your answer. Emotions may run a bit deeper today, as well as that intuition – listen to it. When the Moon starts probing beneath the surface, the fears you suppress may come floating to the top. Face them today and deal with them.

The Moon card is, as are many other cards, a card of focus, however, in this case that focus is not always clear, sometimes causing confusion. It is much easier to become fearful, even disillusioned, when life is not a brightly-lit path, and you do not know what is lurking. This card serves as a reminder to face your fears and to release them.
