As I state in my video below, I can not think of a more appropriate card for today. Mercury enters its shadow period today as it prepares to retrograde right in the middle of all of the August chaos which is about to ensue. Post-retrograde, it will not leave shadow until September 19, marking September 20 as the day for moving forward unencumbered.
The Hermit is a guide, a beacon of light for all on their journey. To me, he always represents that guidance through the proverbial tunnels we encounter in life. Today’s entrance into Mercury’s shadow period can very much be equated to entering a new tunnel. Not everything will be clear until September 20 when you have emerged from the other side. Let the Hermit show you the way, and trust in the journey.
