Card of the Day – Death – Sunday, February 10, 2019
‘We Shall Never Pass this Way Again’ was a popular hit from the duo, Seals & Croft, back in 1973. This phrase very much typifies the use of our Death card today. It is not to be feared, rather it should be embraced. Currently, we are at the tail-end of two very important transits. Chiron in Pisces and Uranus in Aries, are both hanging out at 29°. This is known as the anaretic degree, and it brings us to the end of the cycle. What makes these two transits stand out more than anything else at this degree right now, is the fact that it will be decades before they make their way back around the zodiac to these spots once again. Chiron will move back into Aries on February 18, and Uranus will move back into Taurus on March 6. This marks the end of two key cycles, and being now at 29°, certainly you can feel the need to be done, and the changes which are on the horizon.
The Death card tells us it is ok to let the old way die away, giving way to newness and a rebirth. While, as I said in the video below, this is not all about today, rather it is about right now, and ongoing. You are closing a chapter, once and for all, so as to begin a new one. A little fear and apprehension can be commonplace, but do not allow it to hold you back from the transformative energies available to you. Many things are changing in the coming weeks, and it pays to remember that as you close all those old doors, you are making space in your life to open new doors.

Card of the Day – Death – Monday, January 14, 2019
The beginning…of The End. You are entering a transitional phase which allows you to close a very heavy door. You will not be closing it today, but things are beginning to get real, and chances are, you know soon they will be very different. This is not a card to be feared, although the path ahead may be a bit chaotic and less than smooth. Any transformation which is taking your life to a better space in the long run is certainly worth the expense of a slightly bumpy ride.
This particular part of your journey is allowing you to bring to closure events which have been occurring since 2011. It is time, for when you finish with this part, the biggest transition of your life awaits, as new doors will begin to open for you soon. You will be reborn, rise up better and stronger, with a new purpose before you know it.

Card of the Day – Death – Saturday, December 8, 2018
The beginning of the End. There is a door which very much needs to be closed; you have just entered the transitional phase of doing so. To have a better understanding as to what is ending, what needs to change, think back to your life since early 2011. You can not go back to that life, therefore now you need to take the necessary steps to allow that part of you to die away. A new and better you is on its way.
The underlying themes of this transition, I feel are very much connected to Uranus’ current retrograde in Aries. It will go direct by January 6, and you should be seeing by then that you will be able to successfully close that door. You will have completed this cycle when Uranus then enters the sign of Taurus on March 6, not to return to Aries for another 84 years. Remember, you now have the blessings of the New Moon in Sagittarius just passed, together with Jupiter in home sign of Sagittarius through December 2, 2019. Take advantage of these to help you bring about a necessary end and close the door on the past.

Card of the Day – Death – Tuesday, November 27, 2018
What a great image! Today’s Death card comes to us from a new deck titled Sawyer’s Path Tarot. I am loving the entire deck, but you must admit this Death card really rocks! Sailing off into a beautiful sunset does indeed make for the perfect ending.
We are still under the influence of the Full Moon, which occurred at 0° Gemini, even though today’s Moon is actually in Leo. Endings, or in this case, it feels like being done, or, at the very least, wanting to be done. That was the first of five Full Moons which will be at 0°; at this point, it feels as though you are more than ready for a next chapter to begin. We all know the Death card is not only about endings, but also about beginnings, and they do feel as they they are drawing closer every day.
I mentioned feeling done with something, and it is likely to be whatever situations retrograde Mercury in Sagittarius has been throwing in your face. You are in the home stretch. Mercury will leave Sagittarius on December 1, retrograding back into Scorpio, then go direct on December 6. On December 12, a direct Mercury will go back into Sagittarius, allowing you to implement any necessary changes and fixes as a result of what is going on right now.

Such great timing for this card! The Death card is always a welcome sight here; it is not to be feared. Death and Scorpio go hand-in-hand. Currently, we have Jupiter, which has been in Scorpio since October 10, 2017, nearing the end of its time here, as it approaches to enter Sagittarius on November 8. Jupiter is expansive and Scorpio is transformative, just like the Death card. You have the ability now to really change your life, starting within yourself.
Venus, which is retrograde in Scorpio, is here to bring much-needed changes to relationships, partnerships, financial situations, and even health/beauty issues. In this case, review of what has been going on will aid you in your transition to become a better version of you. Also, in Scorpio right now, is Mercury; Scorpio is the great detective, the speaker and seeker of truth, and the most able to keep a secret. Truth can often be blunt, cutting to the bone, and bringing about endings, but, remember, through endings, and clearing away, Scorpio rises up, even stronger, as the Phoenix. Embrace the changes, embrace the transformation of self, allow the doors to close on the past for good, and prepare to begin anew.

Card of the Day – Death – Thursday, August 9, 2018
I don’t think I need to remind anyone that it is Eclipse season, and the third and final, a New Moon Supermoon Partial Solar Eclipse at 18° Leo, is only two days away. The Death card is indeed very appropriate at this time; the Death card gets a bad rap and is probably the most feared card of the Tarot, together with the Tower and the 3 of Swords. Let’s just say there is no such thing as a bad Tarot card. However, it is not uncommon to see people eclipsed from our lives in this very permanent manner. This Eclipse is in Leo; the Sun and Mercury are currently there as well. Remember, the lion is king, and the sign of Leo is one of royalty and celebrity. It is normal at this time that we hear of the passing of life’s true icons.
Those of you who have been with me for any length of time know that I welcome the appearance of this card. After all, in order to make our way to those special new beginnings we desire, something in life needs to end, die away, or be released forever. It is only when we close those old doors that we create the space for new things to enter and new doors to open along our path.
