No card represents the themes of Scorpio season better than Death.  The Sun and Venus are currently transiting the sign of death, rebirth, and transformation, and you cannot help but notice events of this type taking place around you. It is also important to note, Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, now traveling through Aquarius for the next twenty years is still sitting at its powerful station degree into December. Doors are closing and cycles coming to an end, but there are also new chapters ready to begin. 

Death is the most-feared card in the Tarot and should not be.
