New Moon blessings to all! And Happy St. Patrick’s Day to all those who celebrate. Today is our annual New Moon in Pisces; the astrological year is indeed winding down now, as we are only three days away from the astrological New Year when the Sun enters Aries at the time of the Vernal Equinox. There is always a bit of dreaminess associated with Pisces, and also with the 7 of Cups itself.
Normally, when we experience a New Moon, we are setting forth our intentions to the Universe for all of the new things we wish to create in our lives pertaining to our hopes and dreams. This may be easier said than done right now, with Mercury already in its shadow phase and preparing to retrograde on the 22nd. The 7 of Cups is a card of illusion, disillusionment, being faced with options, and perhaps not being totally clear as to what should be chosen. People can be wearing masks at this time, and Mercury, of course, contributes heavily to any fog which may be making any decision difficult. Know that when the timing is right, the proper perspective on your reality will present itself to you, and you will be able to choose just fine.
