My favorite guy! We are only two days away from the Full Moon in Libra, so it is a pleasant surprise to see the King of Cups, as opposed to the Queen of Swords, who always seems to make an appearance. The question would be how this King of Cups plays out for you today, whether it be you, someone around you, or merely taking on the endearing qualities of this special King.
The King of Cups is Mr.-Cool-as-a-Cucumber. I want to see someone create one where he is wearing his shades and looking totally chill. Anyway, this type of energy is terrific for getting you through that big presentation, meeting with the boss, or even an interview for a new job. Yes, Mercury is retrograde, but if you need a job, then go on that interview. This guy is the epitome of kindness and compassion, that is why I love him so much; he genuinely cares for people. While the King of Pentacles is also a great guy, he is more focused on nurturing those he loves by providing security. The King of Cups has your back in times of crisis…perhaps we should call him your Ride or Die King, after all he is the one who would rush into a burning building to save you, or even your cat. His generosity is unparalelled, and intuitively he seems to know just what others need. In the midst of chaos, this is the King upon whom you can count, to keep a level head, and to bring some peace and order to the situation. However, this King plays out for you today, he is a much calmer, and more peaceful alternative to the Queen of Swords.
