What a perfect card with which to begin the week! As we approach the Full Moon in Capricorn, you may notice a more serious vibe setting in, perhaps leaving you feeling a bit somber. At the time of the Full Moon, the Full Moon in Capricorn will be conjunct retrograde Saturn in Capricorn. Capricorn is ruled by Saturn, and you could find yourself overwhelmed by all of this weighty energy, urging you to stay focused and work on your important projects. While they may, or may not, have deadlines, it is likely you will feel the impetus to complete them.
Enter the 8 of Pentacles…this is our nose-to–the-grindstone card. Whether it is work-related, or personal, whatever you know it is you should be doing, is demanding your undivided attention. Burn the midnight oil, if you must, and put in any necessary overtime if that is what it takes to complete the job. The 8 of Pentacles is about paying attention to details, and blocking out all of those outside distractions, such as social media, parties, etc., which can prevent you from doing the best possible work and achieving the best possible results. Expect to feel this way for the next few days, but know that when the Full Moon has passed, the pressing matters which are before you now will no longer appear so consequential.
