The cards always seem to have a way to bring us timely messages. As many in the Northern Hemisphere are taking an extended time off to celebrate Canada Day, which just passed, and Independence Day, which is tomorrow, the party vibe is in the air. The Temperance card cues us to check our focus, lest we become engrossed in excessive behavior. This can mean many things, from overeating, drinking, drugs, technology addiction, and, hey, even spending way too much time in the Sun. In other words, the Temperance card has a way of preaching moderation in all things, so as to maintain balance in one’s life.
There are many ways which the lack of balance you could create can manifest itself, and with the Temperance card, you can see that certain guilty pleasures can oftentimes lead to health issues. Wherever you are, you can apply this advice to your day, and still enjoy yourself. Working toward a healthy balance makes for a much more fulfilling life.
