Interestingly enough, we have not seen this card since January, a time when all planets were direct and the first eclipse of 2018 had not yet occurred. You began the year with purpose and a vengeance; your plans, goals, and aspirations were many. The 5 of Pentacles did not seem so daunting, with its message of lack, poverty, and hard times. You were ready to tackle the remnants of what you had already overcome. Then eclipse season hit, and not long afterward the retrogrades began to creep up on you.
Fast forward to now, and two Mercury retrogrades later, you see Mercury, Mars, and Saturn, have all gone direct. Once again, the 5 of Pentacles comes around, and this time you are ready. You are on the road to recovery, but this time it is so much more. There is an overwhelming desire to in no way ever repeat the hard times of the past. Know that you are finally embarking on the part of your journey which allows you to overcome the difficulties you have experienced. For many, finances became an extreme issue, and now, circumstances are changing, so as to allow you to remedy them for the long term.
