Transition point, journey. Preparing to change location, leaving behind something. Going on a trip.
A boatman controls the boat in which a passenger sits, and six swords installed vertically. The passenger lowered the hood, so it is impossible to see his or her face. The facelessness of the passenger is symbolic because a journey depicted in this card is not necessarily realistic. It may be a new state of mind or internal shift.
Six of Swords represents a journey away from previous difficulties. It may be not a real trip, but changing the state of mind, looking for higher harmony and new hope. The unique features of this card include:
– being prepared to move somewhere;
– feeling a new state of mind;
– looking for changes;
– having a more clear understanding of a situation.
