‘Tis the season. We have not seen the King of Cups since July 18, and that is way too long if you ask me. He is my favorite Tarot person and definitely embodies the vibe of the holidays. Today, the King of Cups could turn up in your world, as an individual, whether it be male or female, or even you.
This King is one to be admired. Nothing ever seems to ruffle his feathers and he remains the calm center in the most chaotic of days. The King of Cups is a generous individual, and this is the time of year where we encounter those Secret-Santa types, who go around and spread cheer by paying off layaways, etc. A compassionate individual who, without forethought, goes rushing in to help as others flee the scene. The King of Cups is a caretaker, not in the sense of the nurturing King of Pentacles, but provides a stable emotional base, and intuitively knows exactly what others may need.
Perhaps you can use him today to help you with a job interview. This cool-as-a-cucumber guy has a motto “Never let them see you sweat!” So, whether you have everything riding on this new job, client, or a huge presentation, know that you’ve got this!
