If you are one of the millions of parents around the world who has taken this week off to spend time with their children over the holidays, then this may be a familiar scene to you today. Eventually, the roughhousing begins, the holiday cheer subsides, and whether it be through boredom, or sibling rivalry, some form of clash ensues. Unless of course everyone received light sabers as a gift and they are all just practicing to be extras in the next Star Wars movie.
The 5 of Wands is a card of conflict, competition, and tension, but it is not an indicator of the way things will be. You as an individual can always strive to do your best to bring everyone together on the same page, put down conflicts, and work toward building rather than tearing down. When it comes to competition, remember you are in competition with no one. Just do your best each day to be a better person than you were the day before and you will always feel on top.
