With Venus currently traveling in Scorpio through November 1, this card makes perfect sense. You all know Venus is about love, money, and beauty, and the 5 of Wands represents competition and conflicts. This is not the best of combinations, especially in today’s age of the instant selfie and the need for self-promotion. All signs have both positive and negative traits, and one of Scorpio’s least endearing is vanity. This 5 of Inspiration, which appears as our 5 of Wands today, captures the essence of this perfectly. Too many find themselves trying to compete with unrealistic images which can be found on social media.
Remember, you are in competition with no one. Being the best version of yourself that you can is one thing, but to become obsessed with appearances in an unrealistic manner is an unhealthy habit. Just be true to you, and do not worry what others are doing. Know that there will be those who represent those Scorpionic extremes right now, but you do not need to engage in the conflict. Be you, in all your glory, and let your uniqueness shine for all to see.
