What an appropriate card to close out a year, a decade even. These are moments where, those fears which lurk in shadows, need to be released. Call it a dream state, if you will, for the Moon is closing out the year in none other than intuitive, sensitive Pisces. Pisces is ruled by Neptune, and as far as Tarot cards go, Neptune has been assigned to the Moon card. I might add that, Neptune is currently at home in Pisces. I know there is a ton of Capricorn energy around, but I firmly believe those who feel so deeply all the time, will see this Neptune/Pisces influence affect their day the most.
The Moon is all about addressing your fears, those that live in the far reaches of your mind, and releasing them. What could be a more perfect time to release than this moment, purging them, so as to enter this next phase and begin anew. With both this card, and today’s Pisces Moon, you may wonder what became of your day; there could be a great deal of daydreaming, and reflect as you pace through the darker corners of your psyche and prepare to come into the light of a new year.
