We are the world, we are the children; every time I have come across this card in the last few days, those words keep playing in my head. The world has been united in a time of global crisis, as evidenced from the balconies of Italy, to the homes, kitchens, and basements, of celebrities, doing their best to provide relief and cheer when things are more than a bit tough for so many of you.
The World card is the final card of the Major Arcana of the Tarot. With the World, things have come full circle, a cycle is complete, there is success, and often there are new doors which are opening. Calendar-wise, today is the actual last day of Saturn in Capricorn for a while (it will re-enter Capricorn during its retrograde on July 1), so here we see the completion, so to speak, of a major cycle. Very late in the day for some, tomorrow’s calendar date for the rest, Saturn will be moving into Aquarius; the planet of restriction will be taking up residence in the sign of freedom, perhaps leaving many to feel like a free spirit in a straight jacket.
