Communication is the theme of the day here, as Mercury retrograde in Cancer gets moving. There is literally so much going on right now that all of the current energies combined may cause you to feel as if you have been sucked up into a swirling tornado, with no idea of where you will be deposited when it ends. Words are flying fast and furious now, not just with Mercury, but also with the impending Solar Eclipse at 0° Cancer, happening in just two days. Arguments are possible now. Heightened emotions may become very raw, and it may not be possible to think before speaking.
So, you know Mercury is retrograde through July 12, in the emotional sign of Cancer. You know there is a powerful, yet positive, Solar Eclipse, churning up some changes in your life. Did you know that tomorrow is the Summer/Winter Solstice at the time of the Sun’s entrance into Cancer? Late yesterday, there was a sextile, still in play, between Mars and Pluto, action and transformation, offering up a turbo boost for your projects, as suggested by this 8 of Wands. Building through tomorrow is a sextile between Mars and Jupiter, bringing you the impetus to tackle things you previously felt were difficult. Essentially, what you have here is a recipe for rapid developments, and movement in various areas of life, some through outside forces, with a great deal of momentum present on your part. It seems highly unlikely today’s 8 of Wands finds you sitting still. There is so much happening, and although Mercury retrograde tends to have you looking back, in this case, it may very well be what propels you into this new story which will be evolving once the New Moon arrives.
