Today’s card gives a nod to the Aries energy in the house, specifically, the Aries Moon, retrograde Mars in Aries, and I suppose I should also mention retrograde Chiron in Aries. So, what type of energy are we looking at here? Aries is known for being headstrong, the leader, sometimes in a bit of a “Me first!” kind of way, starting many things, but not always finishing them, and perhaps most well known for speaking without thinking.

Our Emperor certainly does have a great deal to say, not just that he is opinionated, but he is also not so easily swayed. In spite of his often unyielding manner, he is known to be quite protective, such as a Father figure would be. The best way to utilize this card, and its Aries energy, is to move forward with things today, which have perhaps been set aside for a few days, and use the rock-solid foundation which the Emperor provides for building a stronger, more secure future.
