Holiday season is pretty much in full swing for many, and whether you are prepping for Christmas, Chanukah, Yule, Boxing Day, or Kwanzaa, to name a few, what is at the heart of each of these is a deeper meaning than who bought the biggest, and most priciest, gift. These last couple of years find many on tough times, and a reminder this is not a competition could be in order, for it is not in your best interest to feel you need to compete with anyone, for anything. In fact, the only person you need to be better than is the person you were yesterday. Somehow, this can be forgotten, but today’s 5 of Wands message is so clear in this regard. It will serve you better today, should you maintain a more defensive stance with any ground you may have gained in recent weeks. 2022 will not be off to a roaring start (Be sure to listen to my 2022 General Tarot Guidance Overview), and you will not want to have wasted your time on frivolous banter.
The 5 of Wands, as stated on the card, is one of competition, debate, and defense, however, it also covers things like tension and strife. When we see this card, people may be at odds with one another, and conflicts tend to arise. This does not need to happen, and your willingness to participate, or not, can either add fuel to the fire, or help to put a damper on it.
