Forever guiding you through some of the more obscure sections of your path, the Hermit has a way of showing up when you are about to enter the tunnel in life known as Mercury retrograde. In only three days, Mercury will begin its first retrograde of 2022 in the sign of Aquarius, and you are likley already experiencing the effects of this. Things may not seem clear right now, and the Hermit’s lantern is there to provide some light to show you the way. Venus is also retrograde at the moment, through January 29, so the Hermit’s presence could be doubly important for you at this time.

Known as the guide of the Tarot, the Hermit asks you to fall in line behind him/her, in order to show you the way. It is not uncommon for this card to make an appearance again, and be much like the-light-at-the-end-of-the-tunnel. Now is not the time to begin anything new, so keep your focus with current, ongoing, projects, and take a more slow and deliberate path forward until you reach the light of day. It will be here sooner than you think.
