Card of the Day – The Emperor – Friday, April 29, 2022

Every day right now appears to be an eventful one in the cosmos, as the Moon continues today in the sign of Aries, in preparation for tomorrow’s Solar Eclipse in Taurus. Your retrograde-free zone which began back on February 3 comes to an end as Pluto begins its annual retrograde, in Capricorn, through October 8. Mercury goes home to Gemini, and is already in pre-shadow, as it prepares to begin its second retrograde of the year on May 10. Our card today is more about the Aries Moon than anything else, forming a sextile with Saturn, which could bring up elderly persons in your life like our Emperor, and a square to newly-retrograde Pluto, which could stir the pot a bit more than you may wish. His appearance today can leave you feeling the pinch of needing to abide by rules and regulations, with authority figures having the upper hand.

The Emperor is the ultimate leader, at times a Father figure, but more the stern type who tells you no when it comes to using the car; he carries with him a sense of stability, and a solid foundation, wanting you to know the rules are in place for your own good. He can be immovable, often standing in the way of what you want to do, and his stance is totally unwaivering.
