Card of the Day – The Hanged Man – Friday, December 30, 2022

The Fool begins his journey as a newbie, full of wide-eyed innocence. However, along the way, he tends to get caught up in the thing called life, and its many glitches, speedbumps, and hang-ups, forcing him to take a good look around, and perhaps gaining a new perspective before proceeding. This is such a perfect year-end card, asking you to explore all angles and possibilities, as you prepare to embark down the road of 2023. Mercury just began its retrograde yesterday, in the sign of Capricorn, not going direct until January 18, further exacerbating the whole review process indicated here. No one promised you could hit the ground running on January 1, and it will be ok if you do not, for there is transformation of incredible proportions arriving in the New Year, and you will be glad you had this opportunity to press “Pause.” You need not look very far to find all types of reminders of where you have been during 2022, so go ahead and look back, then decide the coming year is going to be different.

The Hanged Man is a card of sacrifice, release, letting go, new perspective, delays, speedbumps, glitches, feeling as if you are being hung out to dry, to name a few. In the process of closing out 2023, use this card to look everything over carefully, for understanding where you have been, can help to guide you to where you are going.
