In your quest to meet your goals, the way is not always clear, and most often does not go as intended. There are a couple of beneficial uses to the Hermit card in such an instance, and he is very much your guide, providing a beacon of light, on an otherwise dimly-lit path. He can show you the direction which is necessary to reach your destination, or perhaps even a detour you had not anticipated, to better serve your interests. He can be counsel, when you require advice, and even a bit of quiet time, when you simply need to be alone with your own thoughts. However you choose to use him today, he is here to help you find your way.

The Hermit is the guide of the Tarot, and without his beacon of light shining brightly, there would be so many lost souls left floundering around in the dark. It is important to trust the Universe in this instance, for the journey on which you are being taken might not be the one you had in mind. Be open to the possibilities, and explore the directions presented to you.
