Happy Memorial Day to all those who celebrate, as we honor those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. There are many parties, but we always need to remember the reason for the holiday. On the 20th, Mars entered Leo, a place where it has not been for two years, and it has dialed up your passion and drive in a new area of life for the next six weeks. The Emperor card is representative of this Mars energy, and he is the proverbial authority figure, sometimes a seemingly immovable object, right in your way. His intentions are good, but while you might want to spend the day partying, he is asking you to live life responsibly. You can do both.

The Emperor is a Father figure, not in the nurturing manner of the provider King of Pentacles, but more as the rule maker, figurehead, a male patriarchal figure, or even a stable foundation upon which you can build.
