It has been quite some time since we have seen this card, and its placement feels ever-so-appropriate. In life, situations, and relationships, often work, until they do not. To become disappointed by events surrounding either is not at all uncommon, however, it does come with a sense of sadness for some. Lately, many of you seem to be experiencing a series of nonsensical events which have brought into question whether certain people and situations still serve a purpose on your journey. Moving on toward new horizons would appear to be in your best interest, and whatever awaits you will probably be a welcome change.

The 8 of Cups is a card of disappointment and abandonment, for when a particular way of life is not working anymore, new direction is indicated. No matter how good it once was, you have outlived this part of your journey, and it is time to seek new ground.
