One of the major themes of heavily-retrograde periods such as this is the need for review. You have been tending to your Garden of Life, planting seeds, hopefully providing the necessary care for their growth, and then retrograde season comes along, perhaps throwing into focus the validity of some of your goals. So, you stop and assess, trying to determine which of your little seedlings actually stands a chance to come to fruition and make it in the real world. A little weeding could be necessary on your part, but do not be hasty. Deal with each item which comes up for review, and know at some point, you will need to decide if it is worth your time.

The 7 of Pentacles certainly wants to help you to reap rewards, but it also asks if you are growing a bumper crop, or if you should choose to give your attention to projects which hold the most value. These decisions are yours and yours alone to make.
