While you are in no way maintaining total control over all events in your life, it still cannot hurt to get behind the wheel. It might feel a bit like one of those driverless cars, but putting yourself in a position to avoid any oncoming challenges can be very helpful. Eventually, you will be able to claim victory and steer your own course, however, right now you are more or less along for the ride.
