To not back down in the face of adversity is the sign of a true survivor. Sure, it would be easy to retreat to your blanket fort when the going gets tough, but resilience, true grit, persistence, and determination can help you to go the distance. Whatever has not been easy for you, by not throwing in the towel, and powering through, you have shown yourself what you are capable of withstanding. You might be a little weary, but you are still standing and stronger than ever.
