There is no need to tiptoe around the bad actors today, but being wise enough not to poke the bear is definitely in order. Avoiding unnecessary confrontations goes a long way toward keeping the peace. Situations which could lead to conflict are more easily managed by not engaging in conversations causing anger to arise.
