Happy Solstice! Today is the Winter/Summer Solstice at the time of the Sun’s entrance into the sign of Capricorn. All week a barrage of Fire cards have had you moving and shaking in all different directions, but the energy shifts in a dramatic way when the Sun leaves Sagittarius. Typically, we see the Knight of Pentacles sitting atop a stationary horse, with all four hooves on the ground, or even standing beside one. However, if you look at the beautiful image here, you will notice he is putting on the brakes, so to speak, and about to plant all four feet in the earthy Capricorn season. He wants to slow your roll, become more grounded, and take a more serious approach, rather than such a scattered one. Take your time with things and be certain to do them right the first time.

The Knight of Pentacles is the Mr. Reliable of the Tarot. You can count on him to be punctual, reliable, extremely consistent and methodical.
