Even though there is an impending Mercury retrograde (as well as some others), this does not mean you need to concede recent progress you have made toward your goals for change. You can maintain a defensive position and not give up any ground which you have already gained in recent weeks. The best way to do this is to focus on all of your current projects in order to make great strides with them. Refrain from beginning anything new at this time and you will find this is not so difficult to do. What works best for you might not be popular with others but their opinion does not matter. 

The 7 of Wands always reminds me of the 1989 classic ‘I Won’t Back Down’ by Tom Petty.
