Change never comes easy, and during this highly transitional time period, it is common to experience some form of loss. Relationships are not exempt from this, and some might simply not be meant to go with you into the next phase. This can be sad, and acknowledging the sadness is fine, however there is so much more which remains. Do not allow your focus to be fixated on what is no more, or you will miss out on so much.

The 5 of Cups is a card of loss, broken relationships, water under the bridge, crying over spilled milk, throwing yourself a pity party.
