The Emperor does not appear anywhere near as often as the Empress and that is probably a good thing. He can be rather stern and unyielding, forcing the rules at every turn. As Mars and Uranus come together today in the sign of Gemini, the desire to break out and break free, in order to achieve your goals can be very strong. You will not want to be under anyone’s thumb or succumbing to their demands. He can, however, provide a stable base for you, upon which to build and achieve those goals. 

The Emperor card is a fatherly figure, imposing rules and guidelines for behavior which might not feel comfortable for you.
